Brief Description

To introduce students to the concept of programming language paradigms, underlining the point that there are alternative paradigms to the Object-Oriented paradigm studied in the first year; to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the different paradigms and the relationship between them; to give students experience of programming using a "modern functional" language.
